Here is a brief snapshot of my events background:
I began my event career as a brand ambassador but quickly advanced, becoming a respected field and mobile marketing manager who executed local, regional, and nationwide programs for high profile clients including Allstate, Clorox Green Works, Dannon, Horizon Organic, Kajeet, Kellogg’s, Petco, Simon Malls, and Teen Vogue. My final project was the ABCs of Style Tour, where I served as the West Coast Operations & Tour manager for a multi-city concert and fashion show at major malls throughout AZ, CO, and CA.
In 2011, I explored new territory by applying my event and communications expertise to the wine industry, where I ended up working a combined total of four years in event management and sales. Beginning as an independent wine consultant, I drove sales for a diverse portfolio of brands including Beringer, Chateau St. Jean, Clos Du Bois, Estancia, Franciscan, Hogue, Kim Crawford, Penfolds, Robert Mondavi, Simi, Segura Viudas, and Souverain. Although this was my first active role in sales, I became one of the highest selling contractors and was often requested by agency clients.
In 2012, my wine sales experience led me back to the event world. I became the events manager for the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance, where I planned and managed local events that brought more than 6,000 annual attendees and thousands of impressions to the Zin Festival, Wine Festival, Mid-State Fair (Cattlemen & Farmers Day Pouring, Wine Industry Awards, Mission Square Wine Bar), and Wine Country Auction. On the member side, I organized and handled logistics for the annual Legislative Tour, Membership Meetings, and Educational Seminars. Most notably, I transformed the annual Member Gala into a new event by planning and designing the first annual Wine Prom.
As an event manager, my strengths lie in logistics and execution. I’m self motivated with the ability to work independently, multitask, and consistently meet deadlines while remaining adaptable and flexible enough to effectively deal with change and problem solve issues as they arise.
